Camelon Juniors Youth Development offer training facilities to players and coaches affected by the closure of Forth Valley Football Academy.
This week the news broke in the press that the Forth Valley Academy will close on December 31, leaving many talented young footballers and coaches without a club. As a community club we simply can’t stand by and do nothing to assist those affected.
Our Youth setup is in its first season. We currently have three youth teams operating, and have firm plans in place to expand that to seven next season. As such we would welcome any Forth Valley Academy player along to train with us and make use of our facilities. We understand that this is likely the worst possible time for this to happen to a young player, half way through a season, when most squads are already set.
At Camelon Juniors, we can offer you the hand of friendship from a forward thinking progressive club and help you get back playing and most importantly, enjoying football again. We have an excellent strength and conditioning program that is the envy of many seniors clubs. In our first season, five of our under 19 team have already featured for the first team.
If any parent, player or coach is interested in this offer, or even just needs some advice on what to do next, then please get in touch with Pat Kerr, Head of Youth Development by emailing email@example.com or by sending us a private message on Facebook. We will do our best to help.
