New Signings

Camelon Juniors are very pleased to announce the signing of defender Ryan Lockie and forward Ross Cameron from Stirling Albion.

Ryan joined the Mariners at the start of the season on a short term loan, but having played a strong role in the team, extended his loan in January to the end of this season.

Ross joined his teammate at the Mariners in February on a development loan, also to the end of the season.

We’re thrilled that now they’ve both made the move to Carmuirs Park permanent.

Both players scored stunning free kicks in our 4-3 win over Newtongrange Star in our last Junior League match. A great way to celebrate their permanent move to the club.

Manager Gordon Herd, wasting no time in completing this fantastic piece of business said, “I’m delighted to get the two boys from Stirling Albion. They’re two players with great potential and I didn’t think I’d get them as they’d been offered pre-season deals at Stirling Albion. It’s a good coup for us as we build for next season.”

Ross Cameron joins the club

We are very pleased to announce the signing of 19 year old forward Ross Cameron on a development loan from Stirling Albion for the rest of this season.

Ross has had a very successful spell in their under 20s squad and finished as top scorer last season, scoring 14 goals in the Development League East.

Camelon manager, Gordon Herd, is really pleased to secure Ross’s talents. “He’s highly thought of at Stirling”, says Gordon, “and they want him to get some game time so this is a deal that works for both parties.”

Welcome to the mighty Mariners Ross.
