Ryan Lockie extends his contract

We are pleased to announce that 20 year old defender Ryan Lockie has extended his contract with us, keeping him at the club until at least June 2020.

Ryan joined us on loan from Stirling Albion in August 2017, extending his stay last January before finally making Camelon his permanent home last May. He brings a solid presence to our defence and is always looking to push the play up the field, even scoring one goal so far this season.

Thanks for sticking with the mighty Mariners Ryan!

New Signings

Camelon Juniors are very pleased to announce the signing of defender Ryan Lockie and forward Ross Cameron from Stirling Albion.

Ryan joined the Mariners at the start of the season on a short term loan, but having played a strong role in the team, extended his loan in January to the end of this season.

Ross joined his teammate at the Mariners in February on a development loan, also to the end of the season.

We’re thrilled that now they’ve both made the move to Carmuirs Park permanent.

Both players scored stunning free kicks in our 4-3 win over Newtongrange Star in our last Junior League match. A great way to celebrate their permanent move to the club.

Manager Gordon Herd, wasting no time in completing this fantastic piece of business said, “I’m delighted to get the two boys from Stirling Albion. They’re two players with great potential and I didn’t think I’d get them as they’d been offered pre-season deals at Stirling Albion. It’s a good coup for us as we build for next season.”

Ryan Lockie extends loan spell

We are very pleased to announce that left back Ryan Lockie has extended his loan spell with us from Stirling Albion.

Ryan joined the Mariners at the start of the season on a short term loan, but having played a strong role in the team, his loan has now been extended to the end of this season.

Manager Gordon Herd said “I feel Ryan has grown as a player since coming in.  He gives us good options going forward as well as defensively with the left foot he has.  I’m delighted to have him with us until the end of the season.”
