CJFC u20s Signing News – Gregg Clarke

Thanks to our partnership with Pitreavie Pumas, CJFC u20s are pleased to announce the signing of Gregg Clarke.

Gregg has been a stand out player in his training and game time with the u20s, and we were delighted to offer him the chance to move from Pitreavie Pumas to further his development.

This is a great advert for the CJFC Player Pathway and of working with like minded clubs.

We would like to thank Pitreavie and Paul Baxter for his involvement and drive to develop his boys and give them every opportunity to progress.

Midfielder David Morrison joins the club

Camelon Juniors are pleased to announce the signing of 33 year old midfielder David Morrison.

David has previously played for Bo’ness, Broxburn and Sauchie and featured as a trialist for us at the beginning of the season. He even got onto the score sheet in our League Cup qualifying match against Dunbar but ended up signing for Dunipace where he’s played in 11 matches and scored twice.

On securing David signature, manager Gordon Herd said “I’m delighted to get David on board. He’s a quality player who’ll bring a lot of experience and can play in a few positions as well. We’re really grateful to Dunipace for releasing David from his contract and allowing this move to happen.”

Head of Youth Development Gary Clark welcomes Jay Buist to the club

Youth Development News

Last night was a momentous occasion for one of our new youth teams.

The 2006/07 team, led by Graeme Anderson, held a signing evening at Carmuirs Park and the players even got to play on the main pitch too. Head of Youth Development Gary Clark and Committee member Allan Morrison were there to support the coaches, players and parents during the evening.

We are thrilled at how many Camelon children are in the team. This is one of the reasons for our youth teams – to support and encourage the talent within our local children as well as involving other talent from across the region too. It’s what we all sign up to when we say we’re a community club and encourage people to “support local”.

Also showing the strength of community and family spirit throughout the whole club, first team striker Kieran Anderson came down to the park and spoke to the children in this young team to encourage them.

Congratulations to all involved and for the new signings, welcome to the CJFC family!
